The Hyperliquid builder code ecosystem has come a long way. Over $45M in total revenue has already been generated, with the top two apps — Phantom and Based — each earning roughly $11M in only a few months and 5 other apps earning over $1M each.
The most successful apps have built unique user experiences and focused on onboarding net new users from outside the Hyperliquid ecosystem.
What we’ve seen to date has mostly catered to crypto’s early adopters. A larger opportunity lies in creating the seamless, zero-friction experience that brings in mainstream users globally.
With HIP-3 now live, the tools are in place to build entirely new categories of applications that can appeal to billions of people worldwide. The kind of product where users never need to know (or care) that there is a blockchain running under the hood, all with an incredible mobile UX and seamless fiat onboarding.
