🔎 De drie belangrijkste financiële overzichten❶｜Winst- en verliesrekening: verdient een bedrijf eigenlijk winst?
👉🏻 De winst- en verliesrekening (Income Statement) registreert de inkomsten, kosten en winst van een bedrijf over een bepaalde periode, het kan worden gezien als het "cijferlijstje" van het bedrijf om geld te verdienen.
📊 Veelvoorkomende gegevens in de winst- en verliesrekening:
Omzet (Revenue): hoeveel inkomsten het bedrijf heeft verdiend met de verkoop van producten en het leveren van diensten
Brutowinst (Gross Profit): hoeveel er overblijft na aftrek van directe kosten van de omzet
Bedrijfswinst (Operating Income): hoeveel winst de kernactiviteiten hebben opgeleverd
Nettowinst (Net Income): hoeveel er uiteindelijk overblijft na aftrek van alle kosten, uitgaven, rente en belastingen
📌 Een voorbeeld:
De omzet van een bedrijf groeit van 10 miljard naar 12 miljard, het lijkt erop dat het bedrijf groter is geworden; maar als de kosten en uitgaven in dezelfde periode stijgen van 8 miljard naar 11 miljard, kan de uiteindelijke winst juist afnemen. Dus omzetgroei ≠ winstgroei.
💰 Omzet → aftrek van kosten en uitgaven → uiteindelijk winst
💡 Bij het bekijken van de winst- en verliesrekening, focus op drie dingen:
Hoeveel inkomsten, hoeveel er is uitgegeven om winst te maken, en hoeveel er uiteindelijk echt is verdiend.
